Virginia Regional Ballet, inc. sponsors the Virginia Regional Ballet Academy, whose purpose is to bring to the community and develop among its citizens an educational and cultural program in dance. Virginia Regional Ballet is located at 1228 Richmond Road, and is professionally designed and constructed to provide the best possible facilities for instruction. VRB is dedicated to the continued improvement and enhancement of classical ballet technique. Virginia Regional Ballet Academy offers beginning through preprofessional training in all dance forms through a variety of weekly classes and performance opportunities. Professionally trained and experienced teachers qualified to teach classical ballet, character, creative dance, jazz, tap, modern, and ballroom dance are available at all levels. Scholarships are available for deserving students interested in dance. The Virginia Regional Ballet is open to everyone regardless of race, sex, color, religion, national or ethnic origin.

Our June Show 2010

Our June Show will be June 13th at 1PM & 5 PM at the Kimball Theatre. Dress Rehearsal will be Saturday, June 12th. Tickets go on sale April 17th -- General Admission $10.00.

Intent to perform in the June Show forms (bottom portion of flyer) are due Feb. 1st. Costume deposits of $25 per costume are due Feb. 16th. Costume balance is due April 16th.

The Nutcracker 2009

VRB's 2009 production of "The Nutcracker" was performed Dec. 19th at 2 PM and 7:30 PM and Dec. 20th at 2 PM at William & Mary's Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall. Heidi Robitshek, former artisitic director of Chamber Ballet for 35 years, brought to life this holiday classic in Williamsburg for the 32nd year. Our 2009 production of The Nutcracker was a great success. We are very proud of all of our Nutcracker dancers! VRB would like to thank all of the wonderful dancers and their familiies for making this happen.

Tap/Jazz Combo New Time

It's Official! The Tap/Jazz Combo class has changed it's 5:30 PM time to 4:30 PM beginning Monday, January 11th. There is still room available in the class if anyone would like to join!

Welcome Ms. T

VRBA welcomes our new instructor, Teanna Calhoun. Ms. T will be teaching tap and jazz on Mondays and Tuedays. Please introduce yourselves and welcome her to our VBA family.

Itsy Bitsy Yoga® at VRB

Itsy Bitsy Yoga will be taught at VRB. Tot class is for children 8 months to 24 months, and Tyke class is for children 21 months to 4 years. For information and registration, please visit www.happylittleyogi.com. Tuition and registration fees are separate from VRB classes.
